YBAC Interclub Challenge Cup
The Interclub Challenge Cup is a team-based event integrated into the Snoek Classic competition. Each participating club may enter one or more teams, and the combined total weight of the top five fish per club determines the Interclub Champion.
This year's Challenge coincides with a milestone celebration the 20th Annual Snoek Classic, renowned for its outstanding prizes, first-class organisation, and community spirit.
Over R300,000 in prizes are awarded annually across various categories making the Snoek Classic one of the largest small-boat fishing events in South Africa.

The Trophy
Each year, the winning club's name is engraved onto the trophy base — a permanent reminder of teamwork, skill, and achievement.
Visitors are welcome to view the trophy and browse photos of past events and winners at the clubhouse.
The Challenge Cup operates under SAMSA and NSRI Station 34 safety protocols.
All skippers and crew must comply with seaworthiness, licensing, and ethical angling requirements.
The event also serves to promote marine conservation and responsible fishing practices across participating clubs — ensuring that the waters we enjoy today remain thriving for future generations.
Join as a member, represent your club, or simply come and experience the spirit of the Interclub Challenge Cup firsthand.
