The Snoek Classic is the West Coast's most anticipated fishing competition — where boats, crews, and families gather in Yzerfontein to chase the silver fish that made this town famous.

This isn't just a competition — it's tradition, camaraderie, and the heart of YBAC.

Weigh-in: 11h00 – 15h00

Skippers to attend mandatory safety briefing at the clubhouse before launch.

Rules & Safety

All boats must launch from the Yzerfontein slipway.
Skippers are responsible for the safety of their crews.
NSRI Station 34 will be on duty throughout the event.
Fish must be weighed on official scales at the clubhouse.
The Weighmaster's decision is final.
